- What do you think of when you think of the devil attacking you?
- How does faith combat the attacks of the devil? (What does this tell you about the nature of his attacks?)
- How does knowing that others are suffering give you strength when under attack?
- Peter says that God’s grace in suffering can perfect (complete) us, establish (make us sturdy), strengthen (give us the ability to keep moving) and settle us (or keep us calm.) Which of these qualities do you feel the greatest need for at this time in your life?
- Why is it important to remember that God’s glory and dominion are forever?
- Peter refers to the “true grace of God in which we stand.” Have you ever seen a fake grace of God?
- Peter closes his letter by imputing a blessing of peace. Why was it important that this would be his last word to them?
- What lasting impression are you taking away from this entire study of First Peter?
